Jesus told us, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values at Calvary Tabernacle is discipleship. It begins in our own community, and spreads over seas to every nation. We implore you to consider not just visiting us but getting involved. Be a part where ministry happens.

Gatherings

 

GATHERINGS are regular occurring large-group times of worship, teaching, or prayer.  Both for specific groups of people and church wide.

Velocity

VELOCITY brings high-energy every Thursday night at our Winnie Campus Bible studies for students ages 12-18.  We have a unique passion to see young people grow and develop their gifts. Through real relationships and relevant teaching, we desire to provide a strong spiritual foundation for the students of Velocity. Our goal is to see students living out the Gospel and proclaiming Christ in their generation.

Children's Ministry

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY at its best. Every Sunday at 2:00 pm, our children's ministry takes your children into the presence of God through a variety of resources such as skits, dramas, puppets, music and more. Our devoted team reaches out to ensure that no child is left out. Whatever the activity, your child is sure to be blessed.

Men's Ministry

MEN’S MINISTRY at Calvary works diligently to uphold the principles of Christ in our homes. As God's chosen vessel men strive to be the leaders that God wants us to be, and do not take the appointment lightly. Men’s Ministry meets on a monthly basis for prayer and breakfast, where they are strengthened in the bonds of their unity, and in an aim to win the fight for our families and homes.

Women's Ministry

WOMEN’S MINISTRY offers diverse connections with the purpose to equip women to mature in their relationship in Jesus Christ, to fellowship with one another, and to serve others through fellowship.

Singles Ministry

SINGLES MINISTRY is designed to enhance the lives of Single Adults of all ages, stages, and phases of life’ through social interaction and events.

Handsup

HANDSUP is a ministry geared to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless in Beaumont and the surrounding areas.  Handsup helps meet the needs of many through personal and group evangelism, prayer, bible study and breakfast, and much more.

Music Ministry

MUSIC MINISTRY strives to usher in the presence of the Lord through our Praise and Worship music.  In every note that is played, every beat that is hit, and every melody that is sang, we know the importance of it -- true worship. Although Calvary has many skilled musicians and singers, we also know that we are nothing without God. Our job is to set the tone for the service and we do not take that lightly.

Drama Ministry

DRAMA MINISTRY at Calvary strives for God-honoring worship. Many church members get involved in our drama team. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.  Calvary’s drama team orchestrates an anointed Easter drama every year that illustrates the Gospel and reaches out to the community and the body of Christ through the expressive and interpretive medium of theatre arts.

Usher

USHER is the ministry that aims for direction to all who visit or attend Calvary Tabernacle. As the ministry that oversees the general needs of those who sit on our pews, ushers see it as an honor to help facilitate you and your guest. In order to help make every service a pleasant one, ushers arrive early to check the condition of our building such as air temperature, bathrooms, literature center, etc. During the church service, one of our greatest callings is to see to the collection of the offerings that come in from the church body. Ushers strive to work hard to be available to any need that may arise.

Hospitality

HOSPITALITY is the host and hostess ministry at Calvary.  Hospitality is a cool and caring ministry where every guest is greeted with a warm welcome and pleasant smile. It is our desire to help people identify with our church by having information on our services, Sunday school activities, and any other exciting news and events. We aspire to see every guest receive a gift of appreciation for their visit to the most amazing worship center in Beaumont.

Outreach

OUTREACH is to connect with every person we come into contact with across the city of Beaumont. We know that if we can connect with them, they will come. We want to reach out to them so that they will ultimately have a relationship with God and the people of God. Once we have opened up with others who are looking for a place to connect, God can do the rest.

Prayer Warriors

PRAYER WARRIORS Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Ministry Team team pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. 

Bible Quizzing

BIBLE QUIZZING is where our kids can learn and memorize the Word of God in a team effort by following 2 Timothy 2:15. Kids come together to compete and learn how to stand under pressure as they prove their knowledge in a competitive but Godly manner.  Our goal is to help each and every child learn how to study, memorize and publicly speak what they have learned so that they will be equipped with confidence and have Biblical armor to fight the good fight of faith as they grow in the Lord. We look forward to new scholars joining us as we journey through our great adventure of Bible Quizzing.

Media & Technology

MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY  uses media to spread the gospel at Calvary.  In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for the kingdom.  All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats.  We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.
